After building my career as a Registered Nurse in Japan, I spent two life-changing years in Australia on a Working Holiday, primarily working in Aged Care.

In that environment, I hit a wall: I realized that just knowing the language wasn’t enough to truly connect with someone. You have to understand the culture and the values behind the words.

That "aha!" moment is why I’m so passionate about being a cultural guide today.

To give you the best support, I also spent a year training under a senior instructor with 8 years of experience, mastering the professional side of language coaching.

But here’s the most important thing: In my lessons, making mistakes is not a failure—it’s the fastest shortcut to success. Please don't feel like you have to get it right the first time!

My priority is making you feel safe and comfortable. I want our sessions to be a warm space where you can laugh through the mistakes. Even if your Japanese isn’t perfect, your effort to embrace our culture will always touch people’s hearts.
